Marketing that means business
Your opportunity to upskill for 2027 and build the best marketing plan for your business yet.
A practical programme for recruitment marketers who are ready to think, plan and operate more commercially, with three experienced recruitment marketing leaders in your corner.
Marketing is changing.
Your role needs to change with it.
Recruitment marketers are expected to do far more than deliver activity. You're expected to understand the business, build a plan, secure investment, prove your impact and influence the people making the decisions.
But if you're the only marketer in the business, or don't have a senior marketing leader around you, where do you develop that strategic thinking?
That's where we come in.
Marketing That Means Business combines practical frameworks, peer learning and mentoring with purpose to help you become a more commercially confident marketer, without us doing the work for you.
Four sessions. One programme.
A more commercial approach to marketing.
From business goals to budget, measurement and influence. Each session ends with something you can take straight back to your business.
Build a marketing plan around the business
Start with business goals, not tactics. We'll work through how to translate business priorities into marketing objectives, audiences, priorities and activity, and decide what should make the plan and what shouldn't.
You'll walk away with: a clear framework for your 2027 marketing plan.
Build the investment case
Once you know what you're trying to achieve, you can work out what it will take. We'll look at priorities, resource, investment and how to make a credible case for what marketing needs, with flexibility for different business models and budgets.
You'll walk away with: a practical approach to building and presenting your 2027 marketing budget.
Prove marketing's value
Move beyond counting activity. We'll explore what success actually looks like, which measures matter and how to communicate marketing's contribution to the wider business.
You'll walk away with: a clearer framework for measuring and reporting marketing impact.
Get marketing heard
Being a good marketer isn't enough if you can't influence the people around you. We'll look at managing upwards, getting buy-in, championing your ideas, asking for investment and positioning yourself as someone who can lead marketing strategically.
You'll walk away with: practical tools and greater confidence to influence the people who make the decisions.
This isn't a course.
And it isn't traditional mentoring either.
Each session combines strategic thinking, practical frameworks and mentoring, with space to apply it all to your own business. We'll advise, challenge, support and sense-check your thinking.
But you do the work. The goal isn't for us to create your marketing plan, budget or reporting framework.
It's to help you become the marketer who can.

This isn't simply professional development. It's an opportunity to invest in the person already responsible for your marketing, and give them the strategic thinking, commercial frameworks and confidence to make that investment work harder.
A small investment now can help your marketer build a stronger plan, make better investment decisions, demonstrate marketing's value and have more influence with the business in 2027.
